About Our Festival
Celebrate 200 years of Decatur with art, food, music and performances from around the world. Mayor Patti Garrett kicks off the festival at 1 pm. See Brazilian Capoeria, Thai and Indian dancers, Korean drummers and Ukrainian performers. Enjoy Scottish bagpipes, live art painting, henna, and a preview of 200 Stories of Decatur! A DJ will keep you moving between performances, food and retail vendors, and community resource tents. And for the finale – fireworks!
The festival is free and family-friendly. Presented by Decatur Tourism and Decatur Downtown Development Authority.
